A Journey Rooted in Empathy, Driven by Purpose
Founded in the year 1999, TOUCH began with a simple yet powerful mission β to reach out and uplift the most vulnerable. What started as a small initiative has today grown into a movement that touches thousands of lives every year.
TOUCH, a rural development organization, emerged in 1999 with a dedicated group, committed to uplifting downtrodden communities in Telangana. Headquartered in Srinivasa Colony, Mahaboobnagar District, TOUCH focuses on marginalized populations, initiating various developmental programs. Our outreach spans Mahabubnagar and Narayanpet districts.
Implementing participatory approaches ensures democratic and constitutional development, emphasizing the empowerment of children, women, and farmers. Key priorities include rural health, environmental conservation, and addressing the crisis of child labor, orphans, destitute, and vagrant children.
For over 16 years, TOUCH has been running an orphanage in Appannapally, providing residential care, quality education, life skills, computer training, career guidance, and rehabilitation to nearly 120 orphaned and vulnerable children. By collaborating with government departments and implementing welfare schemes, TOUCH continues to empower disadvantaged communities and support their overall development.
Our VISION
A safe, supportive and nurturing family for every child, where every child has the opportunity to grow, thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Mission
We are committed to protecting and empowering children from vulnerable and disadvantaged communities by strengthening families, communities and child protection systems.
We work closely with government departments, local administrations, frontline workers and community organisations to prevent unnecessary separation of children from their families, strengthen vulnerable families and promote family-based alternative care whenever children cannot remain with their biological families.
Our mission is to ensure that children and families receive the right support at the right time by connecting them with appropriate government schemes, services and social protection programmes. We strengthen the capacity of frontline workers and community systems through training, collaboration and continuous support.
Through early intervention, family strengthening, child protection, reintegration and sustained follow-up, we aim to build resilient families and responsive public systems so that every child can grow up in a safe, stable, loving and supportive family environment.
